The system can also include an AC/DC converter with a capacity of up to a 5 kW, plus as many as 48 large deep-cycle lead-acid batteries.

Possible load sources include the grid (if available), a 32 kW diesel generator, a 12 kW, 18 kW, or 24 kW natural gas generator, a solar photovoltaic array of up to 160 kW, and up to six 12 kW AC wind turbines. The system can also include an AC/DC converter with a capacity of up to a 40 kW, plus as many as 384 large deep-cycle lead-acid batteries.
